The so called energy saving glass, is known as low emission glass or Low-E as well. With the ability of the high light transmission and low light radiation Low-E glass gives an oppoortunity for utilisation of solar energy and heat insulation in the same time so it is suitable for cold and hot climate in widespread exertion.

Low-E glass is typically used in insulating glass units as a double or triple glazing.

In the case of double glazing unit the currently possible best (lowest) Ug value is 0,9 W/m² K.

In the case of triple glazing unit the currently possible best (lowest) Ug value is 0,5W/M² K.
